Co-Creating a Community Studio

with TD Future Cities Centre and partners

Launched in Fall, 2019, the Community Studio was an innovative pilot project providing a pop-up hub for visitor engagement, connecting visitors to a series of dynamic exhibits in the Future Cities Centre.

I led the design and delivery of a series of co-creation sessions with participating artists, internal stakeholders and staff to build the vision and approach. Together, we also built a framework for engagement and gathering feedback from the public in playful and creative ways.

The inaugural season of the Community Studio built momentum with a host of hands-on activations at the hub, deepening interaction with the material. Seeking to build learning through the process, feedback tools were deployed, including a Public Life Study, to inform the year ahead.
